If you're on a PVP server, 3 of the points in Deflection should be put in Vindication and Eye for an Eye. Eye for an Eye is AMAZING. Imagine a shaman critting you twice for like 4k total with the elemental mastery combo, and you hit them back instantly for 1200 without requiring mana or a weapon swing. Then take 5/5 Spiritual Focus and 2/2 Unyielding Faith or 5/5 Illumination 2/2 Unyielding Faith.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems more logical to me to have more dps than mitigation.
I constantly rank in the top 2 on the DPS meter in instances, and it bothers me that so many people don't know how to play Ret Pallys so they talk trash about them being bad DPS. Maybe you're just bad at playing a Ret pally?

I'm sorry, but your talent choices suck. Improved Blessing of Might is garbage. Rank 7 BoM gives 185 AP, 20% of that is 37...so 37 AP (roughly 2.7 dps) for 5 talent points. Even if you're buffing every melee in a dungeon group, what are you going to get? 11 dps? Pure garbage, take ONLY Benediction. Deflection is also garbage for a Ret build. Those points should be going into Imp Judgement and Imp Seal of the Crusader to increase your damage. Healing Light is also a complete waste of talents, those points are better spent in Spiritual Focus to help you lose less casting time while a mob is hitting you (literally one of the few times you should be casting a healing spell, because you can bandage or eat out of combat). -OR- Illumination which can help you if you want to heal dungeons. If you're on a PVP server, 3 of the points in Deflection should be put in Vindication and Eye for an Eye. Just wondering why you wouldn't put 3 points in improved SotC instead of deflection - paladins can be *much* more than just white-swing auto-attackers and surely judging SotC before using SoC would be an increase in dps. Granted you're going to be using more mana but you can always white-swing on mobs whilst waiting for your mana to regen....Maybe I'm missing something here, but it seems more logical to me to have more dps than mitigation.

I also disagree with several of the talents you chose (those 5 pts in Deflection should go to Imp SotC for example), but more to my point, your rotation is bad. First things first, make a macro and put Judgement and Seal of Command on one button. Apply Seal of the Crusader before the fight, then hit the macro. Your melee attacks will keep the holy damage buff up the whole fight, so every 8 seconds you judge for a nice chunk of change. Also, drop a Hammer of Justice on a bigger foe and judge afterwards for a bigger damage modifier from Seal of Command against incapacitated targets.I constantly rank in the top 2 on the DPS meter in instances, and it bothers me that so many people don't know how to play Ret Pallys so they talk trash about them being bad DPS.
